Paid Holidays
Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to receive ten (10) paid holidays each calendar year. A 1.0 FTE employee receives eight (8) hours of pay for holidays. Eligible employees at less than 1.0 FTE will receive prorated holiday pay. Pay is also based on an employee's regular work schedule.

Parental Leave
Family matters, and that includes growing families! At MHCS employees working at 0.5 FTE or more and meeting FMLA eligibility are able to receive paid parental leave if they are experiencing a birth, adoption, or foster care placement.
- Primary caregivers will receive up to eight (8) weeks of paid parental leave.
- Secondary caregivers will receive up to two (2) weeks of paid parental leave.
Retirement
MHCS has a retirement plan through The Employer Group. All employees, regardless of employment status, are eligible to contribute to their retirement plan! Contributions are made through the employee's bi-weekly paychecks, and the amount contributed is up to the employee. Contributions can be either percentage-based or amount-based.
Employees working at 0.5 FTE or more are eligible for a matching 3% employer contribution to their 401K. Full eligibility is based on both employment status and FTE:
- Non-exempt employees working at or above 0.5 FTE who work 1,000 or more hours in a calendar year are eligible.
- Exempt employees working at 0.5 FTE are eligible.
